FEE STRUCTURE FOR FUNDED CHILDREN WITH EFFECT FROM SEPTEMBER 2024
Children accessing the 3–4-year-old Universal Entitlement, FF2 funding for eligible 2-year-olds or 2-year-old working parent entitlement, are entitled to 15 hours free childcare for 38 weeks to a maximum of 570 hours per year.
Free early education may be taken with multiple providers.
At Marden Pre-School we offer the free education pattern of delivery in the following way:

The charge will be £2.50 for After School Club – Payable Monthly in advance
30 hours Entitlement
Children whose parents are eligible for the working parent entitlement for 3–4-year-olds, can access up to 30 hours of free childcare for 38 weeks to a maximum of 1140 hours per year. These 30-hour spaces are subject to availability
Government funding is intended to deliver 15 or 30 hours per week of free high quality, flexible education. It is not intended to cover the cost of mealtimes.
EYPP
If your child is eligible for EYPP, then we do have alternative provision available to assist with additional costs e.g. After School Club or Snack
Consumable Charges
There is a Voluntary Contribution of 30p daily for snack. We ask at the beginning of each term if you would like to contribute. We need at least 70% of families to contribute in order to provide snack. – Payable termly in advance.
Deposit
To secure your child’s place at Pre-School we require a fee of £100* this is required the term before your child is due to start. eg April if your child is due to start September.
* This is refundable for children who will be eligible for Free Early Years Education when they start (will be paid by the first half term)
* If you do not take up the secured place this is non-refundable
* If you are not eligible for free funding when your child starts then this fee is refunded at 5% of your monthly bill amount until the £100 is used up.
*If you are in receipt of means tested benefits then we do not require a deposit but we do need to see a letter of eligibility.
*If your child is entitled to a FF2 we do not require a fee but we require your 6 digit eligibility code in order to secure your place.
